Martin Luther King Jr. was a man who changed the way people think about African Americans. He told African Americans “You are as good as anyone!” MLK was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. MLK died on April 4, 1968. His father was a priest and MLK planned to follow in his footsteps. He grew up in a place where black and whites were completely separated. Every where you looked you would see signs that say “white only”. Dr. King planned to change all of this! |
