When people talk about MLK having a dream they mean that he knew what he wanted and he was going to pursue it. He wanted for African American people to have the same rights as white people. MLK kept fighting for his dream by doing things like going to conferences and leading parades, even if they ended up in a riot. Everyday MLK risked his life because he had a dream. Everyone who didn’t agree that blacks should be freed from segregation was out to get him. That is what people mean when they say that MLK had a dream. |
