What did MLK do or say that promoted the acceptance of people who are different?

MLK  said a lot of things that promoted the acceptance of people who are different.  MLK said things like, “Discrimination is a hellhound that gnaws at Negroes in every waking moment of their lives.”   He also said, “ I have a dream that my 4 little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”  MLK did things like, treating white people with respect so they would treat blacks with respect, and walking great distances to show how committed he was to fixing this giant problem of segregation.  That is what  Dr. King did to promote the acceptance of people  who are different!
