His FamilyText Box:   King’s family was very important to him, and he was very close to all of them. In the following text we will be talking about King’s closer family members. Such as his father, mother, sister Willie, and his brother Alfred.
Matin Luther King Sr.Alberta KingText Box: Alberta King was Martin Luther King Jr.’s mother. She was also a  school teacher and the organist for the Ebenezer Baptist church in Atlanta, Georgia from 1932-1972. She was born on September 13, 1904 and she died on June 30, 1974 She was also there for Martin when he and his friends weren't allowed to play together because he was black and they were white. She was also the one who comforted him and told him  about  segregation.   
Text Box:  Martin Luther King Sr. was born on December 19, 1899 and died on November 11,  1984. Throughout  most of his life he ran a church as its reverend. When Martin Luther King Jr. was young he sang with his brother and sister for the church.

Text Box: Willie King was known for her families history, civil rights act  participation, teaching, and public service. Willie was born on September 11, 1927 and hasn’t died yet. At age eighty she stated
 "Here I am 80, and so many things have happened. You don't question anything, but I wonder why am I the one that is left, God must have me here for something. " She was also the oldest of her siblings.
Text Box: Alfred King was a social reformer, civil right activist, minister, and a younger brother to Martin Luther King Jr. He was born July 30, 1930 and died July 21, 1969.  He, Martin, and their sister Willie also sang in the church choir on Sunday mornings at their fathers church.
